http://www.theprovince.com/news/Family+ ... story.htmlThis is apparently sparking a lot of controversy.
I actually think Earl's has a right not to provide high chairs. It's not like they're disallowing kids into their restaurants. Some of these angry parents seem to just have too much of a sense of entitlement. Is it a law in BC that restaurants must provide high chairs?
The Earl's rep in the article said parents can bring their own high chairs. I think that's perfectly reasonable, but that comment got even more negative feedback.

I think that 90% of most North Americans have an overheightened sense of entitlement.

it's the parents that treat their kids like they are the next king or something that complain about everything. Next thing you know, it'll be pet owners who complain they can't bring their pets in.

parents who treat their kids like that think highly of themselves too, which is why i agree with the whole entitlement thing.
they should just do what bill cosby does:

I feel bad for Earl's. I wonder why they got singled out? They're not the only restaurant that doesn't provide high chairs.

Earls used to be a family restaurant, like white spot. But then they tried to be all fancy and stuff, maybe that's why.

The Province is getting pretty bad... they've always been a tabloid newspaper, but in the past the news articles were still okay.
