Isn't this literally down the street from Nathan? I think I could smell the smoke from my place this morning.

yeah, when i left for work this morning my neighbour was looking down the street. when i looked down, all i saw was a plume of smoke that looked like fog. i went to the garage, and had to drive down like 4 blocks before i could get onto smith. there were that many trucks.

that place had to come down, there were lots of gangsters living there and not the first time it was intentionally set on fire (in fact, i think we have a thread about it somewhere).

what the, it went up at 12:30am? i was totally still up man, i didn't hear a thing. weird.

Hm. Internet's been down all day. Cable too. I wonder if it's fire-related.

yea, i drove by it right at 12:30am on saturday night (er, sunday morning?). I heading home from and i smelled the fire all the way down from canada way and gilmore. It was still smoking sunday morning at like 11am or something.

and yea, i remember there was a shooting in that building too. I think it was only like 2-3 years ago that that building was set on fire too.

speaking of gangsters, i think there's a drug dealer just a few houses down from our place. we see the guy talking into car windows all the time and even one time on my way back to work after lunch, i saw him hand something to a drive and receive a wad of cash in return...

shaw apparently was down due to the fire, but it's all back up now.
talked to my cousin, her house stinks. ours is fine though, can't smell a thing inside or out. maybe being a few meters uphill saved us haha.

the darn street is still blocked off. i have to drive past the hospital to get to work down gilmore. Not a big deal but i like my option of going either way... oh well...

yeah, i can't go down my alley. i have to turn up and then turn back down. sucks.

I don't know if I'm downwind... I just know I could smell it, but it was faint.

i guess if i really tried, i could smell it. but i wouldn't have noticed it had i not known there was a fire.
however, driving down smith towards home is quite strong.

last night when i was taking out the garbage, i could totally smell the burnt wood. this morning they were already tearing down the building. man alive they worked fast. i have a feeling that people were trying to loot the place or something, which wouldn't be safe obviously, given the structural integrity and all. now i wonder if the owner of the building torched it so he could sell to a developer or something.
