I'm pretty sure that the people that I would buy this for would say. "Oh thanks" and promptly set it on a bookshelf where it would never be touched again. sigh.

I wonder if there's a, "There's a Reason You're Always Early" book. I hate being late. If it looks like I'm going to be late, there's a good chance I won't even show up at all.

You should just buy like 30 copies of this book and set it down somewhere at New Life for people to take.
Seriously though - even if those chronically late people DO accept and read this book, I doubt it will change anything... sorry, I had my bitter skeptic hat on.

I would put one in everyroom of the house.

One of my instructors in school said he truly HATES people that are late because people that are constantly late are pretty much implying that their time is far more important than those that are waiting.

lateness is something that has always been a pet peeve of mine. I remember when a certain brother of mine and i used to share a car, it was brutal.

Alicia and i have been trying to be punctual as much as we can. Some people will say "it's hard to be on time when you have kids", but i say, yes, it's hardER to be on time if you have kids, but there's nothing stopping you from getting your act together 30 minutes earlier so you can roll out the door when you need to be out the door. shower the night before so you don't waste 45 minutes showering in the morning.

sadly, i think people at NL think "why be on time when nobody is on time"? i found myself thinking this for a while

The same people were always late before they had kids... what was their excuse back then?

i have a spouse who could care less about being punctual. i won't tell you which spouse, just so i could protect her identity.

anyway, it'd be interesting to hear what this book has to say, but i doubt i'd read it myself seeing as i barely read anything these days (even work related haha).

ok, i finally read the whole article. funny how under the four descriptions of late people, a "she" is used all four times (even when it says the rebel is usually a dude).

and anyone get the adverts about reducing your muffin top? i lol'ed.
