I admit to being mad and agitated, but I don't think I was being rude.
A bit of background on the situation. This is an issue at my apartment on the patio. Millipedes infestation. The guy I'm emailing with is the property manager. I told him about the bug situation 1 year ago, and he said they don't handle that kind of thing. I said I disagree with his decision and requested that I make a case with the strata council (the governing body of our apartment complex, whereas the property manager is just our employee). I had to go through the manager to schedule a meeting with the council, and I was scheduled 3 times, and each time the manager changed the meeting date without notifying me.
Fine, so he suggested I can just email my case to him, and he'll forward it to the council. I did that, but I never got an answer. I emailed him 5-6 times asking him what's going on, what's the decision, is anyone going to help. That was the reason why I asked for something official in writing from the strata council so I know for sure what's the decision.
The last email I got from him was 5 months ago. He forwarded me an article about millipedes and how they're beneficial and they're not pests, and the only thing he said was "FYI, I think you will find this flyer interesting".
5 months later came my message that you see in my original post.
And some background on his reply -
-The pest company only came once.
- I'm not requesting for bug spray, I was requesting for the dead bugs to be cleaned up because the pest control guy said that's the only way to make sure they don't come back.
- He did previously refuse service, and said almost word for word, "no, we won't do anything to help you".
So the reason why I thought he was rude was because he didn't check his own facts before telling me to get my facts right.
