i have to admit this is the first i've seen of these pics and all i have to say about them is daaaaaaaaamn son.
i wonder how close the production model will be to the concept.

i just realised that it should be "wrx concept". not sure if the impreza will look like this or not.

concepts and production models are always so different. I haven't ever seen a concept look close to the final product. Concepts always look so much cooler. I wonder if car companies all have a concept squasher whose sole purpose is to make cars look crappier than a concept drawing haha...

but... if the new wrx looks like this, i agree, looks sweet

hm? no, there are a lot of concepts that look pretty close to actual production models. the nsx that we were just talking about is an example.
they're not exactly the same, but pretty dang close.

it depends on how far off into the horizon the actual production comes out.

maybe all the concepts i've seen are really early concept drawings... haha.. they all look like space ships

yeah, that happens, but it certainly isn't the norm in later stages. i think this model wrx is slated for 2014.

All are surprisingly close to the lines of their counterparts from the concept stage.

however, i suppose if you don't see too many concept drawings/models, then you don't have much to compare to.
either case, that wrx is hawt.

I was thinking of trading in the jetta for the fr-s... then i came to my senses and started looking at houses again... sigh... can't i be irresponsible with my money just once in a while? oh wait, i do every friday lol

you'd want to go two-door? i'm looking to get away from two-doors. they seem to attract more police attention lol.

i figure that we'll be splitting the driving of kids around. we already do that now somewhat, and it's hard to get ryan into the back of a two-door (getting out is easy cause he can do it himself).

after my lease is up i'm going for either the golf wagon or maybe a sedan of sorts.

yea, i figure we'd be splitting the driving too, but i'm thinking that splitting wont happen too often.

anyway, why are we talking about this? i already said i wouldn't do it... lol

I think my next car will be more of a luxury sedan...

i wouldn't mind a luxury sedan.
however i can't afford it lol.
