wow, that's a lot of work to show off a sub-$25k car. props on the great presentation, but it's almost too much.

the presentation probably could've been cut in half and had the same effect... i agree, a little overboard

Well, considering that the only car this type of presentation could've worked for with current technology would be one who's shape essentially hasn't changed in 7 generations, why discard a good idea just cuz it's a Golf?

toyota matrix? you're joking, right? at first i wasn't digging the new golf's lines, especially in the hood region, but i have to admit the wagon is looking pretty sharp. sort of makes me want to wait for that release instead of getting the golf 6 wagon.

It's the back end of the hatch model that reminds me of a Matrix.

i don't see it. there were better angled pictures to compare, but they were huge and i'm not really wanting to resize. the only similarity i see is that they're both hatches and they both have your regular car parts (rear windshield, taillights, etc)

Haha, I just saw a quick glance of the Golf from the preview picture of the video. I guess the actual picture looks different.
