i think it's dumb to say that we're the only species that drinks milk from other animals. we're also the only species that prepares our food, eat wide varieties of it, and can travel to other habitats with little to no recourse.

that being said, i built up my tolerance to lactose pretty well haha.

That's another Paleo diet argument. Yes, our bodies have the ability to adapt to whatever environment we put it in, but evolution takes time. Humans have only been drinking milk (past infant years) within the last few thousand years which is only a tiny amount of time in the evolution scheme of things. Also, evolution only takes place if only the lactose tolerant people procreate and the intolerant people are left to die off. I don't think we're ever going to let that happen, so I don't see lactose intolerance going away.

Yeah, that "only species" argument doesn't really make sense to me either. The other stuff does though.

yeah, i knew why we're lactose intolerant, but i just hear that we're "the only species which..." far too often.

having said that, i had some nachos smothered in cheese the other day, and my stool was solid as they come haha.

Kale is a new super food. I think it tastes gross though, but maybe it was the way it was prepared.

It's too bad about milk though. I don't drink it for nutrition, but I like a bit in my coffee and I like other milk products like cheese and yogurt. I could do without the cheese and yogurt, but it's a must-have in my coffee.

Yogurt in coffee is awesome.
