2 reasons why I don't think it's a big deal.

1) He's 19. He's allowed to have some judgment fails once in a while.
2) He took the time to go to Anne Frank's house and stayed for a couple hours.Don't think people would do that if they didn't give a crap.

Cutting someone a break for a brain fart is one thing, but if you

a: look at his continual pattern of self-absorbed immaturity
b: were informed that the visit was his PR team's idea and not his (this has been confirmed)
c: realize that as a very public figure, like it or not, his actions will always be judged and he has a responsibility to be a better role model for all his "beliebers"
d: just take a step back and look at the mess that is the rest of his life right now.

you can't just dismiss it as juvenile. It's just conceited, not naive, conceited.
