I thought casinos change their cards regularly, especially if the table is on a losing streak or if the pit boss suspects some sort of foul play.

haha, that's so dumb. i guess the casino is just embarrassed that they screwed up and called him the cheater. what's he supposed to do? tell them their cards are messed up? that's their job, not his.

Well, they're not even sure that's what happened. That's what the casino accused Ivey of doing, but maybe that's not what he actually did. He was playing $150,000 hands. I'm not sure how that game works, but assuming that each hand is a 1-1 payout, that's only 80 wins to make $12M. Over 3 days, that's not overly impossible without cheating.

But seriously... 3 days without changing a deck of cards?? What kind of casino is that?

yeah, that's even more dumb if they didn't change decks. and they said that ivey somehow convinced them not to change it? if that's true, then they're even more dumb.
