My imaginary girlfriend is looking for someone to take some pro photos of her for things like her portfolio/linkedin account... Thought I'd post here as some of you are good with a camera.

Do you know Ying? He does pro photo shoots for actors/actresses all the time. He's actually a pro though, so I'm not sure if you were actually looking to spend pro amounts of money or if you were just looking to save money and pay amateur rates.

Yea kinda just looking for someone that does it as a hobbie. Sorry I forgot to mention that she is an interior designer lol

ben's friend rember is pseudo-pro too. he's the guy that did his wedding photos. but if you're just looking for simple portraits, pretty much anyone with a prime lens could do it.

If she wants studio head shots then I can get the gear to do it but it'll take me a few weeks. If you want candid / casual head shots, we can pick a nicer day to walk around Gastown or Yaletown to get some good shots. If she is using this for acting/media leads, I HIGHLY recommend paying Yinger. He's actually doing my Executive shots. But if it's just for Linked In and / or online profiles, get a good make up artist who's used to working with photography and we can set up a day.

Or you can just make my life easier and borrow my gear. Just return it with all the nudie stuff DELETED please. I don't want to see your wee wee and I'm sure as hell don't want my wife finding nudies of a twenty year old hottie on my stuff.

Just read about the interior design stuff. Should probably do shots indoors then in a place that she's actually worked on. ie your place.

yeah, looking at yinger's stuff on fb tells me he's pretty pro. from what ben tells me, he's also expensive.

he's not that expensive compared to some of the full time professionals. Only problem with Ying is that he takes forever, at least when I asked him to take some photos for me, not of me.
