Yeah, I heard about that a while ago. It'll probably be a decade before something like that would be approved here, though.

yea, just looks like an airbag for the head... pretty novel idea though...

the only downside i see is if you put it on kids, they fall off their bikes all the time for whatever reason and merely scrape their knee. If the thing deploys, is it like car air bags where you have to pay $$ to get a new deployment system when it didn't need to go off? That'd suck...

i think it'd just be for adults who use their bikes for commuting.
if it were just a kid playing around on their bike, i'd still put an actual helmet on them (also because they don't care about style).
