have a super cheap phone with razor thin margins, and make it so exclusive that you can buy it by invite only? man, if they just upped the price by $100 (still within budget range), they'd totally be raking it in.
i say that, of course, without knowing much about their overhead to begin with. but still, that's pretty slick.

any of you by chance get an invite?
