It's alright. No job is without its issues but at least I don't feel like jumping off a bridge at the thought of going to work each day.
It's required some adjustments, obviously, and more still need to be made. I have no social life and I'm finding it a challenge to change that especially with all the biking that I've made a priority to do. It's now the slow season so I should have a bit more free time and a few more days off though.
I spend most of the day taking orders from customers and calling them out to the back. I don't do much cooking, but at least most of what I do make, I'd be willing to eat; I'm not really into deep fried foods.
The best part, though, would probably be the bike commute... even on a nice and rainy day like today.

glad to hear there are at least a few redeeming qualities from your job. Do you work weekends? haven't seen you in service lately

I've been working most Saturdays and all Sundays, though, depending on the weather, I might get this Sunday off.

what does it mean to be 3rd cook? i didn't even know they were numbered. i guess i could ask my father in law.
