what the hell is wrong with people?

in the swarms of articles and internet posts i read about it, those in attendance (apparently there were large groups of teens and adults just watching as it happened) say that she wasn't raped, but in fact asking for it.

but even if that were the case, does that make it right to post those pictures on the internet? such attitudes toward other people is what sickens me.

That's sick

As a father, I know that there would be some serious raging if I was her dad. This generation is just too desensitized to everything.

yea, i read about this early in the week in the paper. This kinda stuff makes me sick too. Even if it was consensual, that's still so wrong.

I echo jai's sentiments, massive raging if she were my daughter.

Makes me sick to my stomach. I don't even want to hear about it anymore.

i guess with all these social media sites popping up like crazy these things seem to spread faster than we wanted.

i did a little poking around, and it seems like the pictures haven't really surfaced. perhaps (hopefully) the police were worried that they'd go viral, so they sent out the preemptive warning against posting the pictures?

lol, whatever man. if they actually went "viral", i would think that you would stumble upon them without even looking. since all the regular forums i frequent hardly even knew about the party (many are local), i thought i'd see if i could actually find them.

a quick trip to 4chan, which all of you know has everything, showed me that no one has even seen these pictures.

that leaves, in my view, 2 options of what happened:
1. pics went viral but rcmp somehow controlled the internet and stopped them
2. pics never went "viral", but maybe just as far as those who were at the rave

i guess there's always the 3rd option that the pics weren't ever taken, but i think there were too many "witnesses" for that to be true.

It sounded like they were having a difficult time removing the pics as everytime they'd shut down one source, the pics would show up on another. Then they started calling it 'chlid pr0n' probably in hopes of dissuading people from uploading. Don't know if that had any effect, though.

You can't stop the internetz

Usually people on the internet will be pretty careful about this type of stuff. She's an underage girl, so if anyone's caught posting this stuff then the FBI and Chris Hansen will be all over your butt.
