i'm thinking about getting a new headunit for my car too.
where would be a good place to pick up this guy?

new headunits are a bigger and bigger pain to install. i almost think car manufacturers don't want you to get them. anyway, crutchfield has been the choice for many on headunits and mounting brackets and whatever else you need.

for the mazda i'm just sticking with stock. it already has an aux port for ipod hook up, and i can't turn it up because most likely ryan's in the back sleeping.

speaking of brakes, while changing the rubber over to snow tires last night, noticed that the brake pads were getting thin... any suggestions as to a good place to get new pads for cheap?

I heard they were relatively inexepensive. Parts are going to be comparable in price anywhere you go, so you'll be looking to save on labour which I think they charge like $60-70 per hour.

Maybe Phil meant that his shop is ripping him off on his wages.

vm autohaus is the best for all your oem needs. i'm assuming you don't want to go aftermarket.
