BMW gave me a car to take home to test drive, and told me not to fill up gas. What if i run out?

X5, but i still can't justify the cost, it's like a mortgage payment.

Brand spanking new or CPO model?
I'm surprised that the new X3 with the turbo engine seems to be cheaper than a regular 328 touring, although the touring is likely still the better vehicle.

I actually decided against the E39 M5 and opted for the 328ixT. Starting my search next week.
They can't get rid of the X3's fast enough. It's a lousy SUV anyways.

The new one is supposed to be better no? I read that the dimensions would be somewhat similar to the first gen X5.
I'd prefer the 3 touring anyway, I'd still be able to carve corners. Is it just me or is it next to impossible to find a CPO 3 with satnav? They're all lease returns from people who just want to say they have a BMW hence no fancy options ya?

I'm trying to find one with satnav and a manual tranny. That's even harder

all the small crossovers are getting bigger and bigger. and the big cars are getting bigger too.
but to answer fynn's question, if you run out of gas then you call a tow truck. charge the dealer and tell them that you wanted to fill gas but they told you not to.
also, take it out for a spin tonight in the snow. see how it handles in it.

I didn't think they made the 3 touring in manual...thought it was all autos?
Nut, the complaint against the x3 was that it was too small, hence it moving up in size. That and the X1 is coming which I somewhat kind of like, but then again, the 3 touring is still the better vehicle lol!

i'm not saying just the x3, i'm saying all crossovers in general. they're getting bigger to resemble full suv's, and the suv's are getting bigger to resemble dinosaurs, and the dinosaurs are extinct. i think the car manufacturers should listen to that logic.

You should see the QX, feels like a bus in there. I think you need a different class license to drive that.
