i have bought stuff online when the cost-savings warranted it. most particularly hockey equipment. But i'm not naive enough just to give my credit card details to any webpage. common sense needs to be applied in some cases, i don't just google for a product and click on the first link i see...

yeah, i usually shop at reputable sites if i buy online, but i usually don't buy online anyway.
the one time i did just google a product and bought it, it was a total fake piece of crap. good thing it was only $30.

no i bought a ravage usb flash drive, hoping that it was this: http://www.ohgizmo.com/2009/05/19/trans ... ash-drive/
but it turned out to be a fake and it looked like this: http://chinagrabber.com/2gb-usb-transfo ... r-2gb.aspx (not the ripped off top picture, but the lower lame looking pictures).

the usb connector part didn't even slide well, and i used it to back some stuff up and half the stuff disappeared when i tried to access it. piece of junk.
