So those of you who go to vegas often or have planned vegas trips, where are the best places to get deals? Travel agent? word of mouth? expedia?

I'm looking to go sometime in May, organizing for a group of people.

if you are ok with driving down and flying out of belli my suggestion is to use allegiantair they sometimes have some good deals on both the flight and stay... hotels will regularly have some deals too. sometimes its a lot about timing... just check often.

depending on how many rooms you are booking it's possible you could get some type of group rate through an agent..

i would check online first though, there are always tonnes of deals to vegas on a regular basis.

Daffy and I were looking at trips to Vegas for January. She found a 3 night 4 day flight and hotel at Mirage for $275 total each person through Allegiant.

even if you stay in the same room?

Oh sorry.. I should've mentioned. The price quote was based on a couple staying in one room.

when i check allegiant the other day, they had a fly for free deal, so you basically pay the price of the hotel stay. min stay was 4 nights. i priced a few trips depending on hotel range around 500-700 for a couple staying in one room. But the deal only goes to trips happening as far as feb. don't know about prices in around may.

Just booked a trip to Vegas with Daffy. Jan 9 - 13 at Vdara Hotel (the brand new hotel attached to Bellagio).
Our total with taxes and fees and everything in is $570 for both of us.

There were cheaper hotels too... but Vdara is new and is 5 star, so it seemed like an extremely good deal.

cool that sounds like a great deal for a 4 night stay. Maybe you'll win back your trip at the tables too!! I wish I could go to vegas too...

watch out when ur suntanning by the pool area of vdara. Apparently the windows reflect so much light that it's like a magnify glass.
