Was it recorded with Akon? If it was recorded all the way back then, how come they didn't release it like right away?

akon didn't finish recording his vocals on it until this year. but it was originally recorded as duet for the both of them.

no, that's not true. trackmasters brought out a single by akon "hold my hand" like in 2008 or something. i had it since then. when they released the mj song, i was like what the?

it turns out that the single that i had was just the demo that akon did to see if mj would sing the duet with him. but like 2pac, mj apparently was in the studio all the time and was gearing up for a comeback album. that's what this new album is all about.
