How long does it take to get used to wearing glasses?

So i got a pair of glasses today. Never owned a pair.... and I feel like i'm in a fish bowl. Is this normal? how long does it take to get used to this crap?

I couldve been more efficient and just googled this crap but i figured i'd be nice and give you post whores a chance to increase your post count.

I also caught myself eye raping chicks thinking i was wearing sunglasses LOL

not long... especially if you need to wear them everyday. i'd give it a week and see how you feel.

it also depends on the size of the frame too. If the frames are too small and narrows your field of vision, it'll obviously be more noticable and perhaps annoying.

As for the staring can't help you there...

it also depends on how badly you needed your glasses to begin with.

did the place where you got your glasses measure your eyes and frames? the good places do that and recommend proper sizes and then bend the frames to fit your face.

i had improper frames for my face for years and they continually made my eyes worse and worse due to them working too hard/not hard enough. after i got contacts my prescription never even went up (it's been almost 20 years... holy crap i'm old).

or you can just only wear the glasses when you're driving and reading the screen at school.
