i'm not sure about the monthly d/l limits, but for sure i've experienced crappy Mbps rates...
and more than once has the MIL had to call in to telus customer service because they botched something. We've already had to replace the main pvr unit because it somehow malfunctioned after a whopping 2 weeks of usage. We've also had to call in because they didn't give us the channels we requested. Although alicia's mom says that the customer service at telus is more accommodating and polite than shaw.
Also, yes as jai said, 3 tuners for a house with 5 hdtvs. Technically we only have 4 tuners so the tv in my bedroom is rendered useless. With shaw before, we were at least able to plug it in from the wall cable w/o a tuner box and we could get up to channel 57. Now it's just snow.
The picture lags a lot more than what i used to notice with shaw. When the router gets jammed (like all routers eventually do), nothing works because the tv is connected to the router. blah!
Can't pause live tv unless you're on the main pvr unit.
I've found a bug that when two people in the same household are watching the same recorded show, sometimes it effs up the show for the other person where you can't fast forward or rewind the show w/o stopping it altogether and restarting it.
You can't set the max number of episodes to save for a series before deleting the oldest one like shaw did. Forces you to manually delete things unless you want to lose some shows you wanted to keep.
For some reason, i can't make my wireless one seamless network with upstairs like i could with shaw. It'd only work for 30 minutes and my router would seize up and i have to reset all settings.
BUT, i have to admit the guide UI is a lot more aesthetically pleasing and smoother.
i really should be working
