she let it expire because she was too cheap to pay for renewal. she was like, if we're not going anywhere then i don't need to renew, that way we'll save money. well, maybe she'll save the ONE renewal before she dies by this logic.

the same thing happened to my car, she wanted me to wait to get it so we don't have to pay the insurance that we're already going to be paying anyway as of yet. essentially, because it was a lease takeover, i missed out on 2 and half weeks of free car.

i was in the states yesterday to drop a friend off at the airport and i was soooooooooo tempted to go shopping.

but alas, i just got a new car and bought insurance. money isn't huge right now. i really could use $100 for eating 10 burgers or something.

not really interested in playing the forex game... i just have a decent amount of funds tied into us currency b/c of my company's stock purchase plan. at some point in the future i'll have to exchange it for canadian currency and wanted to know what i was getting myself into. if i can take advantage of a good exchange rate all the better, but i am not actively trading currencies.
