Tuesdays and Wednesdays are suppose to be the cheapest days to book. Also try booking your flights one way instead of return for domestic flights, suppose to save on some handling fee that they charge.

i did book two one way flights, but two different airlines.
air canada had less fees than westjet, both flights cost 229 before anything and westjet ended up being like 30 bucks more...
