Kung Fu Panda 2

So we took Hayden to see KFP2 last night. Good thing she sat through the whole thing.

Anyways, i give it a 7.5/10. It's not bad. Hard to rate it compared to the first one because it was pretty different. A lot more fighting and the plot actually had more depth because it dives into the Panda's origin. In any case, this wasn't a bad movie. Hayden liked it so it can't be that bad right? oh wait, she watches some pretty lame shows on tv...

i would think any kid would like any movie with decent animation.

i haven't even seen the first one. i might take ryan to watch cars 2 though when it comes out. but i guess maybe i should watch the first one too haha.

haha, i don't think any kid would like any movie with decent animation. there are a few shows she doesn't care for.

the first kung fu panda was pretty good. one of the better animation movies out there imo. i liked kung fu panda better than cars to be honest

yeah i heard good things about the first one. but then i hear good things about all these pixar type movies ever since toy story and on the most part i couldn't stand any of them.

my childhood was awesome. nothing but transformers and gi joe man. i don't see what that has to do with generic movies with typical story lines though.

i think all kid's stuff now can't compare to the stuff we had when we were kids.

Sometimes i watch the stuff we had when we were kids and if it wasn't for the novelty of knowing that it was what i watched as a kid, i probably wouldn't watch it. The animation and production value of stuff now compared to what we had as kids is like night and day. Sure some stuff sucks now but stuff sucked back then too. That's probably why you only have a few shows you've shortlisted in your childhood.

yeah, the animation sucked growing up, no doubt. but the stories were a lot better. i think it was somewhere around the early 90's when they all decided that kids are too little to have violence in cartoons so the cartoon violence wasn't realistic, it was just goofy.

i remember when g.i. joe was taken over by another animation company after the movie. general hawk fell out of his jeep and there were stars spinning around his head. stars. around general hawk. that's when i stopped watching g.i. joe.
