Just some thoughts...
IMO, let the law handle the punishment. If we're not satisifed with how the gov't deals with these criminals, then that's a problem that we should have with the gov't.
Black marking these people for life just sets them up for a life of crime. Instead of firing her, I think I'd rather see a more creative punishment from Acura. Try turn a negative into a positive... especially if she was a valuable employee... which she may or may not have been.
On the other hand, if the law throws the book at them, then so be it.
I guess what I'm kinda trying to say is that I think I'd like to see a combination of Law and Grace applied to these people.
As far as the 'civilized' people trying to boycott Acura because they had her as an employee, well... it just kinda sounds like a mob of another sort. See how easy a mob can start?
As for the rioters coming forward, apologizing and turning themselves in... well... talk is cheap... especially after they've already been identified. I'd like to see them punish themselves even before the law comes down on them.
