So I was thinking about how screwed your grand grand grand children are going to be, hek it might not even take that long.

I wonder how long the earth can sustain the current population growth rate... here is a scary figure for you. It took until 1800 AD for the world's population to reach 1 billion. That is a long ass time. Now, it only took 10 years between 2001 to 2011 the world's population by that same amount of 1 billion. 10 years.... LOL think about what the population of the earth will be 200 years from now and how we're going to feed all these people. It's going to be a pretty chaotic place me thinks.

Moral of the story, the world is screwed, stop having kids! Or tell the people in India and China to stop having kids.

In all seriousness though, think about this too. Agriculture is shrinking at an accelerated rate as well. In less that 200 years, there won't be enough food being produced to sustain the population.

Global Warming is the least of our worries.

Have any of you ever visited a land fill site??? We are HORRIBLE stewards of this planet. The governments really need to start listening to the scientists and stop pandering to corporate entities and labour unions. We laugh and scoff at all the tree huggers but in the end, they are right and everyone else is wrong.

i've seen a mountain leveled by miners. i've seen giant man-made holes in the midst of natural landscape. i've also seen/known whole farming communities go out of business due to poor crop and profit (due to weather and cheaper run farms i.e. machines).

it's all connected. it's not news, but it sure is covered up.
