You have pricing on them? We work with some dealers that use Control4, but i would have to go through them. The ones from Asia are not all certified for the Canadian market, even so they all do the same stuff.

I can get you an account with AVAD, but that's all I can do as I'm an arm's length away from that business. But they carry EVERYTHING. They sold one of the Samsung 108 inch plasma earlier this year. The delivery / install fee alone was just under $100K. Dedicated 220V line required.

My last conversation with my counterpart had a maxed out Prodigy solution priced out at Dealer cost of around $10K.

Here's the diagram. I'll be running everything except the video changer and the home theater control module cuz I don't want to be engaging the ipads every time I want to watch the main tv. My current Harmony 1100 will suffice for that.

LOL.. no, I'm calling in some serious favors to outfit my house. It will be Crestron / Boston Acoustics / Velodyne / Marantz employee pricing.

But still, Dealer pricing is already at least 50% off list or around 25-30% off street pricing.

Thus why I'm on the fence about remote Kitchen door triggering.... There'll be no network ID broadcast and everything will be closed with encryption so unless one of you nerds broadcast my address out to some unscrupulous types, who's even going to know that my domicile will be this done up? I can see people cruising over on the west side or white rock or north of the Lions gate trying to hack into those houses. Don't think that it's worth their while to cruise in my area on the 1/250,000 chance that they find a place like mine in the 'hood.
