It could be a server issue with your email client. Before you do something drastic like uninstalling Outlook, try setting up a different email account (with a different client, like gmail or something) in your Outlook first to see if that sends emails okay. If it does, then that means it's your email client (shaw or telus or whatever) that's farking things up.
