Chrono Colt Ocean 40mm dial Professional Bracelet circa 1997. It's quartz, not auto but I have free batteries for life at the Dealer. Still the battery lasts over 7 years so I've only changed twice.

Brand new it was $2900. It's my daily beater so it's got a lot of love so I'd probably sell it for around $1000

Oh yeah... and just as an FYI, I get all our timepieces serviced every 5 years by Norbert, the German Watchmaker in downtown. One of the two best in Vancouvuer.

i'll think about it... $1k might be too much for my budget right now.. i was looking for something around the $500 range

i'd prefer a new watch anyway. there are lots of oils and sweat off our wrists, even cleaning your watch regularly won't give it a "new watch feel".

oh, and i'd like a norbit dvd for christmas.

^^ maybe, but I can't say the same for watches made from surgical grade stainless steel. Besides, I clean mine about once every other month. Only takes 5 minutes.

i never clean mine, but maybe it's because i don't have watches that are worth more than my pos car haha

it's still gross if you think about it. with surgical tools, they steam them or something like that to make them sanitary. with watches you might just use a solution or something.

it's like buying used work out gloves lol. or having someone give you underwear. (although the latter is a bit more acceptable).
