i say cash... i think part of our pot problems is because of the multiplier... we can just drop the min chip value to 10 cents or something
i really should be working

I say multiplier because it makes your money last longer.

basically. if we do it duncan's way, we'll still play with the same chips essentially but they're called different. so after when we cash out, the only math we have to do is addition.

apparently a bunch of asians can't do any more complex math than that.

But I really don't think our problem was with the math part of it when we had cash out issues. Our problems were mainly with keeping track of who paid the pot, borrowing money from someone else's stack, borrowing money to buy in, grabbing the wrong number of chips, etc.

I guess unless you're Mike... then it's best to stay away from math at all costs. Unless you're playing poker games, then playing math related games against Mike would be to your advantage.

Hold'em?
Oh, you mean 2 out of 4 or 5 cards in your hand.

multiplier, b/c it allows people to play longer. raises less than 25 cents are going to be difficult to track. you cash out once, but you have to track betting the whole game. it makes more sense to making the chip management easier than the one time cash-out management. at least to me it does.

if we were dealing in cash games with 100 buy ins than that's a diff story.

I've always liked the $100 buy in better because people are less likely to play donkey style.

Even if you've capped yourself at say $50, you have to buy in for $100, that way, you should be watching your betting as you play.

Less Donkey, more real poker.
