usually i have beef and pork balls (the fish balls are gross), sliced beef, chicken wings (sometimes), and those white noodle knots (you know what i'm talking about lol).
for sauce i beat a raw egg mixed with a variety of stuff including but not exclusive to satay sauce, peanut sauce, soy sauce, oyster sauce and xo sauce.
i remember having hot pot with eddie in saskatoon and they premake the soup. they add a bunch of stuff first to make the soup flavourful before we start cooking. i didn't like it too much because they used waaaaay too much cilantro for my tastes (which is no cilantro whatsoever).
