I haven't been to the theatres in ages... I guess I'm missing out on all the trailers too.

i had this theory yesterday that these "exclusive" trailers are for the theatres only, at least for the first while. that way more people may go to the theatre if they want to watch these special trailers.

Yeah, I remember some people back when the "new" Star Wars movies were coming out, they went to the theatres to watch movies just so they could see the trailer before everyone else. They didn't even care about the movie they went to, just the trailers before it.

yeah, that was part of my theory. but then joel thought that if you leave the theatre within a half hour, you could actually get your money back haha.

i don't know anyone who'd go to a movie just to watch trailers.. that's kinda lame... and there's no guarantee which trailers are before which movie... well, i guess after someone sees it, then they can go to that movie to see the trailers, but still, that's pretty lame...

some of the big name ones are announced. like the star wars and lord of the rings ones were announced (or maybe leaked).
there were a lot of people that just split after watching the trailers. it made the news.
