what does she care about the king? she had him killed. i have a feeling she married him just so she could be queen. in earlier episodes she kept saying that snow white "took something" from her. not sure what the something is. maybe another true love?

Yeah, the "Beauty and the Beast" storyline was a bit of a stretch, but there was a very interesting revelation! Can't wait to see more.

This suspense is so true to the Lost show writers' style.

Oh and the girl who plays Belle was also in Lost. She looks way better in this show, but not pretty enough to be a "Belle".

finally watched it last night. anyone notice all the beauty and the beast nuances? there was a scene with the candelabra and cogsworth clock in the background... and the lady selling flowers reference? i think that episode was one of the more clever ones. but i agree, she's not pretty enough to play belle... the hottest on the show is still Red lol...

i still wonder how long a show like this can last because it seems like they're blasting through all the fairy tales one week after the next. I think it'll last to season 3 max. Next season will probably pick up after they learn that the curse was real and emma spends the whole season figuring out how to break the curse, then in season 3, she breaks the curse and the season takes place in the actual fairy tale land

The Lost writers probably already have an end game storyline in mind. If you ever watched Lost, you'll know those writers are super smart and plan things way ahead.

In Lost, you can watch episodes from Season 1 and you'll notice references to things that happen in Season 6. Foreshadowing from Season 1 to Season 6!!! That's just craziness. For example, in Season 1, the characters notice something small like there's a toilet that's clean and it works. Later on in Season 6, you find out why the toilet's clean and working! It blows your mind.

i finally caught up with the episodes tonight so i can finally read this thread lol.

i didn't like the beauty and the beast episode at all. it was retarded how they had that cup in there, along with all the other things like gaston and whatnot. i also thought it was dumb how they dressed her like the disney belle. not to mention that they even named her belle. there goes following the original storylines.

tonight's episode was a bit more interesting. i was thinking that the author (august lol) rewrote the book to either include himself or something. i can't seem to figure it out yet.

oh yeah, and i guess i was right about rumplestiltskin knowing what the deal is. it got pretty obvious with all the "please" talk.
and the fact that he beat the crap out of belle's dad for not really doing anything.

I'm not sure if the August rewrote the book. There were pages missing out of it to begin with. Maybe he just made the book whole again.
