yeah, i wouldn't consider those with biological kids "breeders", but i think adoption should always be a viable option.

I can totally relate with her not wanting to pass down her problems to a child.
I've heard that it's actually not that easy adopting in Canada. Apparently it's easier to adopt from the States.
And I do think of some people as breeders (none of you). It's almost like they've got a baby-mill going on over there. haha.

there are also the people who have kids because it's the "thing to do" or something of the like. i'm totally against that. i tell everyone that's talking about having kids: "if you're not dying to have kids, then don't". i really mean that.

What do you mean by "dying" to have kids though? Like, using yourself as an example, what would "dying" mean in your decision to have 2?

Procreating is part of all of our genetic structure. We're made to spread our genes, it's instinct.

like, if your biggest regret in life will be not having kids, then have them. if you're good either way, then don't. the world doesn't need more half-assed parents who have kids for the sake of having them and take all the short cuts necessary so they don't have to sacrifice their lifestyle. we see that trend in our schools today, all the kids that don't know their ass from a hole in the ground comes from bad parenting.
