Men Who Stare at Goats!!!!

I thought it was completely stupid. George Clooney has been in a slump lately with these types of movies. The last one I thought was pretty bad too was Burn After Reading. Awful awful movies.

Seriously, even if you never saw this movie in your life, you wouldn't have missed anything. Actually, you would save 2 hours of your life plus valuable bandwidth.

haha.. that bad eh? it seems like hollywood is trying too hard to do these artsy fartsy or quirky different type movies... like burn after reading (which i still haven't watched but i heard mixed reviews), slumdog millionaire, inglorious batserds, to name a few. I think it's kinda hit and miss since these movies aren't your usual blockbusters where you know what you're getting outta it. Like Transformers 2... stick your brain in the blender and watch...

I actually Loved Inglorious Basterds and enjoyed Burn after reading. Slumdog was OK and honestly, I think that Goats would have been much more enjoyable if the audience were given a bit of LSD just before the movie. I understood what they were trying to get at... it was just a bad screenplay. Not the worse movie I've ever seen, but far from good.

Well, Slumdog won an Oscar, and I thought it was pretty good too. Good story and good screenplay.
I still want to watch Inglourious Basterds still. It was actually inspired by a 1978 film of the same title, although Tarantino put a completely original spin on it, so I read.

Burn After Reading, screenplay-wise, was the same as Stare at Goats where I totally knew what they were trying to get at, but failed to deliver properly. It's like a comedian with bad delivery/timing. Burn After Reading had a lot more potential though.
