i got pretty lucky tonight. not that my cards were good, but that they seated me with a guy who had 5 mil in his stack and didn't know what the eff he was doing. he raised every preflop regardless of his cards and called every raise regardless of his cards. he single-handedly upped my table stack from 15k to 315k lol. well, maybe others contributed a bit, but he gave me a lot. i lost about 50k after he left haha.

crazy day. i was playing omaha and people were raising like crazy. i kept folding but ended up having the nuts more often than not. finally i called one and ended up winning about 200k (100/200 tables, 40k buy in). it slowly dwindled until i was on a million draws so i called a guy who had been bluffing all night. i missed all my draws and the guy ended up with a house, so i lost my entire stack. i bought in again and had no luck and lost all that. down 80k for the night.

started playing hold'em instead, won back 40k and everyone left the table. now i had nowhere to play. i just hit the "play now" button and it put me in the 5k/10k tables, and auto-bought me in at 174k. i was about to get the heck out of there, but i decided to stay to see how i fair. i ended up with over 2 mil in about 15 minutes lol. it was nerve wracking as heck, so i got outta there after i hit that huge pot haha.

so i made like 20 mil almost solely from one chick who kept calling with her 8 3 and 8 2's. i have a feeling that she doesn't know how to play haha.

haha.. i'm down to like 1600 bucks or something... man, all it takes is a couple rivers and you're screwed....

i think with this game, like you've shown, all it takes is finding the right table with the right moron who actually bought chips with money and doesn't know how not to throw away his/her stack... i have yet to find such a moron... or then again, maybe i'm the moron lol

the key is patience too. i find that if i make money in the first 5 minutes (like when we all first started playing this game), i'm lucky. on average, i'd have to sit there for like an hour until i rake in big bucks.

however, at the 50k/100k tables, people play pretty loose. in fact, just this evening i folded preflop on a 4.5 mil raise, and the flop was 8, 9, q, turn was 10, river was j. everyone went nuts and went all in but ended up getting their money back with the community straight. oh, i forgot to mention that i had the only k on the table. i folded what ended up to be a 60 mil pot haha.

yea, but i don't usually have an hour to sit there and play unless i plan on being constipated lol

I find that this game doesn't deal hands out randomly, but instead it deals out "entertaining" hands. I've noticed they keep dealing out possible straights, flushes and full houses, and they deal out a lot of pocket pairs and suited connector cards to each player.

I have seen on many occassions where (on a full table of 8 players) there are 4 or 5 players who are dealt pocket pairs on the same game. The game even says that the chances of being dealt pocket pairs is 220-1.

Pocket aces is 220:1. Just a pocket pair would be significantly higher.

Why is one pocket pair different odds than any other pocket pair? There are 4 of each card in the deck.

Okay, so it's not pocket Aces.. It's a specific pocket pair that has 1 in 220 chances.

Anyway, my point is.. What are the chances of 4 out of 8 people on the table being dealt pocket pairs at the same time?

I've seen 3, the odds are still there, just like 1-6 in Lotto 649.
