Oh yeah, there's a movie coming out about that hostage crisis in Iran.

i will be talking about this in my sermon. topic loosely to be about racism. point being although Jesus had every right to be racist, he loved people equally.

can go into more details if anyone cares but it's pretty straight forward i think. (hard to write a good sermon after a month of holidays... actually, it's hard to write a good sermon period).

something stuck out to me in the 2nd article... so it's ok if Israel has nuclear weapons but not Iran...

i just hope this situation doesn't develop into military action..

I think Israel has had nuclear weapons for quite some time. I think the point is that they don't want anybody else building nuclear weapons (eg N. Korea, Iran, Iraq, South American countries, African countries, etc). As messed up as the world is, I feel it is relatively 'nuclear' stable. I don't think there's any real threat of nuclear war right now. What I do not want is some new kid on the block to upset the current balance.

I suspect that may be the reasoning behind the decisions made by the powers that be.

I'm really reluctant to take this at face value, I have no idea what's going on, but take this into consideration:
- leading up to this announcement.. there wasnt really anything in the news regarding Canada/Iran relations
- the announcement was timely, it was made during the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation summit
- canada is supposed to have a history of being diplomatic peacemakers, yet they are severing ties
- there's no way Ottawa made this decision. it was probably made in washington


I think there is another unjustified attack coming!!!
