Water leaves rust coloured stains

i might not have gotten this when i was on 1st then, because this seems weird to me.

Yeah, it's weird to me too... It's so weird seeing everything that touches water turn pinkish/red-brown.

i meant weird as unfamiliar. i thought you were just talking about the regular water spots that you get when something air dries. granted, it's usually a bit more gross in the bathroom, but i always figured that it was just from the bathroom just normally being a dirtier place than others.

That's what I'm wondering too... some places are affected and some not. I'm going back to my original theory that it's not the water supply, but maybe something to do with the piping instead.

why the eff would flushed toilet water end back up in your faucet? you'd have more problems than discoloured glasses.

it was actually longer, but not by much. i put it in last thursday or friday and took it out last night.

our tap water is suppose to be safe to drink.

it is safe. just because it's coloured doesn't mean that it's not safe.
