Trade Deadline

So what did you guys think of the trades yesterday? They all seemed pretty insignificant. Looks like phoenix loaded up a bit.

By the way, when is the trade deadline for the NL pool? Any trade talks going around?

I think they were all pretty boring. The interesting trades happened with the olympic trade deadline with kovalchuk and phaneuf moving. This trade deadline was basically shuffling of depth/picks/unwanted-prospects/salary.

Phoenix definitely look better, but we'll see if they're going to be one and done in the playoffs like cbj/atl in years before.

Dave/Wats usually issue a trade deadline along the same lines as when the nhl deadline is. Haven't heard of anything so far this year.

I think since we have gone to the two week lineups, we took out the trade deadline altogether.
