I might need help in the afternoon when I move stuff into the apartment though. That starts at 3:30pm.

You can try to get some nudging in between my winks with Daffy, but plan for a long night if it's going to be the three of us.

Finished moving n record time.
Funny story - rented a truck from Daffy's friend's workplace and they didn't have any trucks for us. I saw a truck in their lot and asked if that was available. Daffy's friend said he can give it to me but I'd have to be super careful because it's a drop off from a Budget from San Francisco so the insurance is different. I was like.. yeah, sure I can do super careful.

Drove to Daffy's place and parked on Oak Street. 15 minutes later, another moving truck comes whizzing by and crashes into my truck's sideview mirror and knocks it right off.

Anyway.. thanks for everyone's offers to help with the move, even though I ended up not needing anyone extra. Everything's still in boxes and stuff so it'll probably be a while before there's any sort of poker at my place.

It's a true story... we felt so bad because we promised to be careful with the truck. We had no control over the other guy hitting a parked truck though.

I think the other truck's insurance will cover for the mirror. It came off pretty cleanly and looks like a new one would just pop right in.

oh for some strange reason i was under the impression that the other truck took off. at least he stuck around, so i guess that's good.
