there are like what, 3 in and outs in all of america? like all of us drive down there while killing every deer in sight to eat burgers.

so yesterday i had a hankerin' for a baconator. i was at work so the closest wendy's was the one on kingsway by imperial. but i just had a baconator on tuesday from that same restaurant, i thought to myself. but oh well, as if it'd be the same girl at the drive thru window.

it was the same girl. and she remembered me. fml.

haha, i remember way back when i was living in surrey still and worked at shoppers. i was out one friday night and was heading home at around 3am. i was starving so i went to the mcdonald's drive thru near my house. i had to work at 7 the next morning so i took my food, went home, ate it and went to sleep. after my whopping 3 and a half hours of sleep, i woke up to go to work, didn't have time to make breakfast so i went to the same mcdonald's drive thru...and the same kid was working.

I remember one time I went to this chinese restaurant near my house for the first time. I was sitting there with my family as we were deciding what to order. We were finally ready to order, so I was looking around to find someone to take our order, I immediately noticed this one lady that was intently staring at me. Thinking that she was waiting for a long time already to take our order, I waved her over. She came walking towards us, all the while staring ever so uncomfortably into my eyes with a weird smile on her face. The first thing she said to me was, "Wow, you got so much bigger now. You're huge!". I laughed because I thought she meant that I looked small from far away, and then got bigger as she walked up close. Then she said, "You used to be so skinny, it must be because *some girl's chinese name* has been feeding you so well!"

She mistook me for someone else. fml

Romers on W.4th. Just opened up. One of the best burger's i've ever ate. They have one burger where the chedder cheese is deep fried! I tried the rib burger, it's one patty, one thick rib and a layer of bacon.

And the drunken donuts are the best with the maple sauce!!

I have to concur about Romers. The burger itself is very good. Not the best that I've ever had, but pretty close. What makes it GREAT for me is that they pan fry up the bun in butter before putting the burger together. That just like how I used to make'em.
How awesome is that!!!!!

So i heard that this US chain called five guys burgers is really good and that they've recently expanded to canada. I looked it up and there's one location in west van and one in surrey. Anyone want to go check it out? Apparently they were rated best burger by some restaurant guide in the states called Zagat.
