no, not yet. because the data that i got with my retention doesn't even work with blackberries, i got them to put me on the blackberry one now (50mb for $15), hopefully it won't change when i get the iphone and go on my retention plan.

I hope you didn't get put on a contract for the data... the iphone tech upgrade is contingent on signing up for 3 years for phone plan and 3 years for data. If you got put on the data contract now, you can't get the iphone later.

no, it all worked out after about an hour at fido yesterday.

it was funny, i walked into the metrotown store...and who do i see? a buddy of mine from bible college. it was pretty weird.

anyway, he had to put me on some "fake" plan with data to sell me the iphone and then i called fido right away after and had them put me back on the blackberry data so it all worked out. and the girl on the phone was like, just make sure you activate the phone on your wife's number or everything won't work.

and you know how they activate it? they punch a hole in your sim card haha. hilarious.

there was something else that he did by hooking it up to his computer, but i wasn't paying attention.

i was still laughing at the custom holepunch that they had for the sim card.
