Another first to add to Reagan’s ever increasing list was her first airplane ride this past weekend. The Chus ventured down to Los Angeles to celebrate her Tai-Po and Tai-Gung’s 7oth Anniversary. Yes, you read it right, SEVENTY YEARS! Wow! What a milestone I tell you. To put this all into perspective, if Jason and I were to celebrate our 70 years together we would have to be over 100 years old! So, while we were contemplating our crushes of the week in highschool, these two lovebirds were already committing themselves to matrimonial bliss. They are a darling couple though who are clearly still very much in love with one another, still giggling like little a young couple with a secret they are not ready to share. Congratulations you two! You have something very special that I admire and aspire to have one day!
It was craziness though, from the moment we woke up at 4am Saturday morning, until 9pm when we tucked Reagan into bed at home Monday. Reagan enjoyed spending a little time with her great-grandparents and other grand-uncles and aunts. She also loved being in grandma and grandpa’s arms every moment she could. Despite her sleep routine being disrupted in every way possible, the little one actually faired very well. Sure there were hair pulling moments, but I have to say overall, Reagan was a star! She smiled prettily when she felt like it and scowled at others, but always in the end, charming those who are within eyeshot of her.
It wasn’t all just family though this weekend. We managed to sneak in a photoshoot with cousin Joyce and enjoyed some of the sites she took us to. We also snuck in an eensie bit of shopping too, but alas, it was only meant to be window shopping as time did not permit a full out money blowing session I am usually accustomed to (which I am sure Jai is soooooooooo thankful for). That’s ok. Maybe when Reagan is a bit bigger that we can enjoy more time away from the crib.

What was most fabulous about LA though? It was the family. The sun was nice (although a tad bit too hot and humid for me), the food not too shabby, but catching up and getting to know Jai’s cousins was awesome!
