Joy to the World!

2010 started off rather uneventfully as we were actively preparing in the first half for the arrival of Reagan. Jai and I had no idea what we were in for. I think we thought we were kind of ready since we were designated babysitters for our niece Emma, but babysitting and parenting…wow…sooooooo different. Admittedly, the first three months after Reagan’s arrival were a bit of a roller coaster ride. We had HIGH highs that descended rapidly into its lows, but all-in-all, an experience that we would not have wanted to miss out on.

If you have been following along, then you have read of and seen the different stages of Reagan’s development and have witnessed how quickly she is changing. She came to us resembling a bald alien and has blossomed into a beautiful (and increasingly active) little girl. She has hair now. 😀 She is willful and independent, but loves to dole out licks kisses and smiles to anyone who is not afraid to get slobbered on.

If there is anything we learned this year, it is that time goes by too quickly and that we should cherish and make the most of what little of it we have with those whom we hold most dear; our friends and family.

Jason and I were late preparing our Christmas card this year (can you tell that we are a newbie family?), so we would like to share this environmentally friendly greeting instead:
