Vegas Flight and Stay deals

Dammit! The CES show in Vegas is from Jan 6-9. I get there on the 9th at night, so I'll just miss it. Dammit!

On another unrelated note, the Adult Entertainment Expo is also held Jan 6-9.

westjet has a seat sale up until 6pm tonight. $98.99 to vegas one way.

Anyone have any ideas for what to do in Vegas?
Keep in mind I'm going with the wife, so Spearmint Rhino is probably out of the question. I could ask though, Daffy might be up for it.

There's some interactive CSI thing.
Drinking.
Restaurant hopping. Beyond the buffets I thought there were lots of interesting places to eat when i went.
Clubbing.
Shopping.
Spas/Day treaments/Massages.
Golf.
You can spend a day and go to the Grand Canyon. I heard that's they have created this clear walkway that you can go that actually goes out over the Grand Canyon.
Gun Range.
Multitude of shows.
There's also some artifical sky diving place there.
Some amusement attractions.. rides/bungee dropping.
There's some closed track that you can drive some really expensive cars.
And always the obvious... Poker/gambling.

There's always the Hoover dam and grand canyon tours, rent a Lambo, shopping, visit the new Aria hotel and of course the shows.

I'm going to be there from Jan 5-10. I'll be helping the US economy.

i hear thunder from down under is a pretty good show. you probably should check it out.

I was looking into the CSI experience thing and it looks kinda lame. You have to actually do work and stuff and investigate a crime scene. In the end, you have to video record your spoken statement as to why you came to your conclusions. Sounds like work to me.

How about hotels? booking hotel through allegiant seems kinda expensive. Is there a better place to find deals for hotels?

the westjet flight/stay deals are freaking cheap. basically you pay for your flight and stay for free.

I booked my hotel through Allegiant too. Vdara 4 nights for $160

hmmm.. it says hotels are like 400+ per person on a 3 night weekend.. is it normally THAT expensive?

I guess it depends on time of week too. Weekdays should be cheaper and weekends a lot more expensive.
They also sometimes have better deals for time of year too. When are you trying to book for?

hmmm actually its not as bad as i thought if you get a package.... The hotel price has the flight price included i think. I was adding flight cost on top. Works out to be about 650-700 for flight and stay per person, based on 2 rooms 7 people.

It looks like prices everywhere for that weekend are expensive..
