Memphis blues has pretty good catfish. It has a wierd stinky taste to it but still good.

i told my mother in law about basa, and she said it's the dirtiest and cheapest fish. i'm sure the restaurants clean it up as much as they can, but she warned me never to eat it again lol.

The basa fish, Pangasius bocourti, is a type of catfish in the family Pangasiidae. Basa are native to the Mekong River Delta in Vietnam and Chao Phraya basin in Thailand.

So it's a type of catfish, which is common is fish and chips. And catfish are one of the dirtest fishes in the world as they are bottom feeders, eating whatever garbage is on the ocean floor.

yea, but you could also say roughly the same about oysters and other things... oysters actually act kinda like a filter in the ocean... they can be even dirtier, but i really doubt any of us will stop eating oyster motoyaki anytime soon...

If you guys ever took an Ag Sci course in University and visited a Chicken Farm.... you'd stop eating chicken too. Far worse than a pig farm. They eat their own $h!t

Pigs eat their own crap too... some lower grade farms feed their pigs entrails from the slaughterhouse too, which in some cases contain pig entrails. That's like pig cannibalism. I don't think we have any of those kinds of farms here in Canada though.
