Stanley Cup Finals!

So I was having a drink with some team mates after my game Saturday, and one of the guys (he's from Toronto) brought up the question: If Toronto and Calgary met in the finals, whom would you cheer for?

This brought on very spirited discussion. Also, the scenario may not be as unlikely as you think. Reimer could pull a Cam Ward and carry the Leafs past the Flyers in the East, while the Flames could pull it together at just the right time. Add in Kipper's typical heroics and it wouldn't be unbelievable for them to knock out three of the Canucks' fragile d-men within the first 2 games, beating up the Canucks in the West.

for the sake of argument, i'd cheer for calgary only because Toronto has a big enough ego for not winning jack.

Although i'd have to agree with shaun and keian. Probably neither. But to pick the lesser of two evils would be picking the flames.

i picked toronto it's been longer since they have raised the cup... and i still have much respect for burke and what he did in van city in his time here... but if they were to meet up i'd think calgary would crush them... but this is who i would cheer for not who i think is going to win... it's always funner to cheer for the underdog... it makes the victory that much more sweeter if they pull it off.
