I know that most of you aren't fans of the Michael Bay versions.... but you have to admit that these are pretty cool.

Why can't the Canadian Mint release something cooler like these???






But in their defense, we do have a couple of cool ones

i actually don't mind the michael bay transformers... i don't mind the inaccuracies because these movies are mostly for entertainment... to let us escape our boring 9-5 lives for a couple hours. If we nit pick every movie, we'd be just as lame as the red shirt guy in that wow convention...

i went to them without any expectations, and the movies still sucked. it wasn't about inaccuracies, it was about screenplay/acting/cinematography, you know, the stuff that people actually judge movies by, and all of those things sucked imho. sure, it had cool cg and all, but what's the point when you can't even tell who is who in a fight? or what they're doing for that matter...

are those coins for real? like they're actually in circulation? i haven't even seen those peanut ones before.

Thinking about it. But considering that the 5 oz silver one is $420 and the 1/4 oz Gold one is $600, it might not be prudent considering the amount of expenses that I'm going to incur in the next year.

The peanut ones are new for this year. I haven't purchased anything new for my coin collection since the late 90's, but these two are ones that I'd love to add.... but a grand is hard to justify right now. I might pick up a Transformer one though.

oh. why not sell some old ones and get new ones?
