and to remove it, you must install another software, which is just a peeping tom software that allows G to see your HD.

i went and turned it on, saw that it wouldn't go past the initial boot screen with the option to go into the bios. then i told her that i'm not gonna bother because the computer's so effing old that it'd be just a waste of my time and that i had more important things to do with my time like look after her newborn grand daughter. I'm just gonna try to part out her hdd and try to recover her tax files she wants. I'm praying that there's no pr0n on there

tell her to flick the on and off switch back and forth really fast for about 1 minute, wait 10 minutes, and it'll boot up.

It'll buy you 11 minutes to do whatever you were doing before she comes back and tells you it's still not working. Then you can tell her she needs a new computer.

there was a thread that came out of 4chan (keian's second home) that had some kid actually put a magnet to his dad's work computer. the thread ended with "and he was never heard from again". lol.

Tonight, I accidentally pulled out the plug from my old Compaq when I was still working on it. When I booted it up, it beep 3 times, the screen froze, and said "Fixed Disk Parameter Table or BIOS Error System Halted". I clicked F10 and it froze again. Rebooted again and same thing happened.

So I thought about asking you guys for help.























Then I remembered this thread. looked it up on google. Pulled out the HD, put it back in, and it worked again.
