replace obsolete technology or bear it?

My philosophy is simple.... Use it until either the wife or daughter breaks it. If it still works, why buy a replacement?

The exception to that is if my parents or her parents need to replace something that they have broken. ie TV or Computer etc. Then they get my old working one for free and I'll pick up a new one then.

except for the old toyota paseo lol. that thing was pretty bullet proof until the engine died at 270k haha.

yeah, except the rear seats sucked. oh, and it was slow as heck.
